Into the depths of emptiness
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88667228150
The full, deep understanding of emptiness and dependent origination lies at the heart of Rob’s offering of the Dharma. In his teachings he invites us to inquire into our immediate experience, using practices from the Pali Canon and Insight Meditation tradition; and through these direct experiences and phenomenological inquiries, see into the emptiness of all things in a way that liberates deeply. This path to awakening and freedom, presented in Seeing That Frees, is not a simple one to take and go deep with.
In this meeting, we will discuss ways to practice deep insight, practicing in ways that are helpful, intelligent, and onward-leading. We will also look into the reasons for, and ways that one can open to the practices and insights that are presented in later chapters of the book.
Our time together will include meditation, a talk and time for sharing and questions.

Lighting the Yahrzeit candle
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81976540500
Yahrzeit candles are lit at sundown of the day before the date of death and kept alight for 24 hours, within the Jewish tradition. We will light candles together on camera at sundown in the UK which is 8.27pm. And we invite everyone else to light a candle at their sundown, so that there will be a wave of candles lighting up around the globe. Those in the UK will light their candles and the Kaddish prayer will be spoken in Hebrew and English. We’ll then sit silently together for 40 minutes, leaving in silence when the bell sounds.
Zoom event: Friday 7th May 6pm BST onwards
